I've done a monumental amount of lingerie shopping over the years, for better or for worse, and I've developed favorites that I order from time and time again. They span a variety of price ranges and styles, but one thing they have in common is that I visit them exclusively online:
London, England (free US shipping over $40)
The Amazon of clothes, ASOS carries tens of thousands of items ranging from their relatively cheap in-house line to brands like AllSaints and Versace. Wading through their lingerie section reveals plenty of black/white/beige basics, straps on everything, and matching sets with multiple bra/bottom options. They carry a lot of British brands that can be difficult to order from outside the UK.
New York City, United States (free US shipping over $75)
My go-to for late-night, trance-inducing lingerie browsing. Scrolling through their bra section becomes almost meditative for me. Journelle's offerings are thoughtfully curated and include smaller independent designers as well as established powerhouses. In 2014, they launched their own in-house brand.

Yeha Leung, the creator of Creepy Yeha, is an absolute genius designer / leatherworker / metalworker / sewist / photographer / business owner who I live in perpetual awe of. She paves the way with strong, distinctive aesthetics and her influence is clearly visible in many spaces online and off. She and her partner Alejandro Lafontant are the only ones running the entire operation. They hand make every piece to fit your measurements and can accommodate any size. So many of my favorite looks are based on Yeha's incredible work.
Melbourne, Australia ($20 AUD shipping outside Australia)
Brooding, witchy, cinematic vibes inform Hopeless Lingerie's dark aesthetic. Owner and designer Gabrielle Adamidis runs a small team that hand makes every piece to order and can accommodate any size. Their work is thoughtful, powerful, and intentional.
Bangkok, Thailand ($10 US shipping)
Though the clothes they sell aren't technically lingerie, many of my photos feature jackets and crop tops from Nün Bangkok. Co-owners Nün and Tom Stannard design a variety of tops, pants, and jackets that are handmade by a team of sewists, including Nün's aunt. They were doing mesh before it was ~a thing~ . They frequently announce 20% off coupon codes on their Instagram (@nunbangkok), so be sure to check it out before placing an order.
